I snuck to DC to watch Kobe Petrus graduate from Howard University. A recipient of the Juanita Howard scholarship for a student that chooses an HBCU, his success feels like a gift to my late mother, who I named the scholarship after, on this Mother’s Day.

It’s literally 2 words. “Medical Racism”.

If I would have told you ten years ago that in 2024 a previous president under indictment for trying to seize permanent power & hiding classified intel from the FBI was running for president again like it’s perfectly normal, you wouldn’t have believed me. We’ve fallen so far.
