Another integral part of our service are our stores team. They ensure over 1,800 items from uniform to cleaning products are delivered to stations so our staff have what they need to carry out their job.

On this day, we remember all firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty and pay tribute to those who continue to keep us safe.

Yesterday our wildfire units from Bolton North and Littleborough, along with our air unit and Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service wildfire units, attended a moorland fire off Rooley Moor Road, Rochdale.

🔥 The fire was extinguished using specialist equipment.
