Very useful discussions on safe interface design in Rust. Chapter 5 of the book Rust Atomics and Locks is a great read that progresses from an unsafe design to a fully typed and safe one using borrowing to avoid allocation ..

Please take my aging survey: gregcons.com/KateBlog/Pleas… and tell others about it too. I want to hear from a variety of ages and genders. You don't have to be a programmer, but I am focusing on programmers.

What if Rust only had panic='abort'? (Instead of panic='unwind', today's default.) It could simplify some parts of the language and prevent subtle bugs.

Do you absolutely need catch_unwind? If yes, please leave a reply!

(Panic hook and backtrace etc. will still work of course!)

The Netherlands wasn't always known as a biking country.

In the past 20 years, the Netherlands has doubled the length of its separated cycle path network, which stretches 35,000 km across the country.

We got an email from the Serbian Registry of Internet Domain Names (RNIDS), the organisation that is responsible for the `.rs` top-level domain.

Looks like they are a big fan of Rust. 😊
