Weeding #books is one my favourite things to do - we decided today to put them outside of the #library for anyone to take. The crowd was enormous.

Lucas Maxwell So agree about this! Whenever I play with kids it's a lesson I try to impart immediately. We make 'failure' fun. It's a great opportunity for a funny story or part of a character's backstory. Some kids love acting out their spectacular failures as much as their epic hits!

Was asked again recently about why D&D appeals to me so much - a lot has to do with being young and constantly gripped with panic around making a mistake.
In D&D mistakes don’t end the story, they propel it forward. Once I understood that, I realised it was a game for me.
