⚠️Yellow weather warning for wind across Cumbria today⚠️

Please take care if you're out and about today as the Met Office have issued a yellow warning for wind which is expected until around 10pm this evening. Blustery showers and wind speeds of up to 55mph could make driving

There is substantial disruption due to a serious accident on the M6 near Penrith. Prayers with those affected and the agencies doing their best to deal with the situation. Please plan your journeys carefully so you don’t end up in a long jam and adding to the congestion.

Our fantastic Operation Respect events will happen across our area this summer.

We have shown our gratitude and appreciation for our On-Call crews at Kendal Fire Station and Keswick Fire Station at special gatherings this week.
