We're at the ICC for the #HIV Stigma24 symposium, organised by HIV Prevention England. A whole day of presentations from initiatives from across the UK, all on reducing #HIV related #stigma .

The recent UK Health Security Agency #PositiveVoices survey illustrates ongoing challenges with fear of telling others about our #HIV . It's clearly still a significant problem to many and can result in people not seeking medical care when they need it. #HIV Stigma24

To address #HIV #stigma in healthcare settings, Brigstowe focused on reaching out and delivering training to those services in Bristol and the South West where the problem was highest. Positive speaker talks were most effective way of changing perspectives! #HIV Stigma24
