It’s been a mad day and I’m very upset, but I’m touched by all the support.

Just putting the final touches to the campaign.

Labour is an institutionally racist political party.

A mother out canvassing with her new born infant, six weeks after a c-section, finding out over email that she’s been barred from standing as a candidate in her home seat because of innocuous tweets. Don’t vote Labour.

If they were so minded, they could have done this months ago.

They chose now for maximum impact and humiliation.

It's not a coincidence that they're targeting women of colour and there has to be an external inquiry. It's bare faced racial and sexist discrimination.

So you can be deselected for liking a tweet criticising Islamophobia, and be selected for being a full-throated apologist for genocide. That's the Labour party for you and I'm supposed to suck it up and vote for them? in your dreams.

Labour using risible claims of antisemitism to bully and ruin the political fortunes of women of colour is one of the most obnoxious things I’ve seen in politics. It is using fake accusations of racism to be racist. Utterly shameful. No self-declared antiracist would tolerate it

Jody McIntyre spent a year the West Bank & Gaza in 2009. He lost jobs at both Christian Aid and The Independent due to the Israel lobby.

Birmingham Yardley could not have a better alternative to Jess Phillips, who was a key part of the Israel lobby coup against Corbyn.

Don't let the Labour party take the Black vote for granted. After #Gaza I had decided not to vote for them for the 1st time but #DianneAbbott is the icing on the cake. Malcolm warned us whether you trust the Wolf (Tories) or the Fox (Labour) you 'still end up in the doghouse'

I don't tweet much about Palestine in my own words and mostly retweet because what is there left to say. I have nothing that Palestinians have not already said 100 times over.

Today we remember George Floyd, who was killed by Minneapolis police on 25 May 2020. His murder sparked global protests for racial justice. Here, thousands took to the streets to proclaim ‘the UK isn't innocent’ and demand that this country confront its own persistent racism 🧵
