It’s St George’s Day. Yer lad was born in Cappadocia (Turkey) & died (executed) in Palestine in 303 CE when it was under Roman occupation. Patron saint of England, Genoa, Catalonia, Portugal & Ethiopia, his flag here in a fresco with the girls in Santo Stefano Basilica, Bologna.

Handful of bale/cloth seals from the Thames. These small lead discs, two or four part, were crimped onto bags or bales of goods but most often attached to textiles. The seal would be stamped to ID the maker & quality of goods. An Alnager/Inspector would check tax had been paid.
