Solana bug bounty is fake, in Aug 2023 I reported a bug, they acknowledged the issue, then stopped responding, then *deleted* the report (but I have a PDF printout of the discussion saved locally).

Just stick to reputable programs like Ethereum that play fair.

Did you know that you can Deploy an SCA without paying any fees? With 3074 you can👇
The idea is to sign the Auth message using Nick's method. You will get an uncontrollable EOA (no one knows its private key) with an Auth message that points to an invoker address which is a proxy

The ModExp precompile was executed 1105 times in the last ~10 days.
There were a total of 8 unique senders (4 of which are affiliated with chainlink), and it was executed through 6 different methods (solidity functions).

This is...
1. fine, precompiles are there for rare use…

End-goal UX is that a Dapp doesn't have to interface directly with 3074 or 4337.

Instead, they will interface with 5792.

To put it in perspective:
1. Dapp calls (5792) wallet_sendCalls
2. Wallet handles wallet_sendCalls, and either,
a. (EOA) Sends calls to a (3074) invoker,…

Spent some time over the weekend to gather common questions/discussions regarding Account Abstraction including EIP-3074, ERC-4337, EIP-5003, RIP-7560, and many more!

Today, we are excited to open source Reth Alphanet.

Reth AlphaNet is an OP Stack-compatible testnet rollup that maximizes Reth performance and enables experimentation of bleeding edge Ethereum Research.

After chatting with ً , I fully support EIP-3074 to be included in the next hardfork.

It’s possible that we might be trapped in the local optimization as Martin Köppelmann 🦉💳 said.

But it’s more pragmatic to gradually achieve AA by letting EOA has some contract account…

EIP-3074 is a fantastically good thing for account abstraction providers b/c it's great for our customers.

- ERC-4337 is the best way to onboard new users to crypto
- EIP-3074 is the best way to onboard existing users to smart accounts

Saying 3074 reduces the incentive to switch to smart accounts is major cope

Batching and sponsoring are tablestakes, the real power of smart accounts lies in programmable validation and execution

If we build powerful products uniquely enabled by smart accounts, ppl will switch

Tbh, I am absolutely thrilled that 3074 is finally going in.

And, no offense, but I know more about end users, wallets, and crypto phishing than you.

You should've been freaking out when the only possible 'solution' was more warnings, more simulations.

To summarize the concerns over a single bad signature draining your Ethereum account after EIP-3074:

- Wallets currently don't support 3074 type signatures, which follow a new format.

- There is an invoker field in 3074 signatures which is very important. A bad invoker can…
