I gave a mother and baby tour of the St Peter's College Duncan Grant collection today and one baby took her actual first steps by the artworks, including this watercolour of the Virgin and Child, dated 1940-45! 🥺🎨

Total Eclipse of the Sun! We may not be able to see the show today in the UK, but we can enjoy this amazing 13th-century diagram of an eclipse from a Latin copy of De motibus planetarum by Alfraganus, now Bodleian Libraries MS. Arch. Selden. B. 34, f. 47v 🌘
