So G B “News” is not news even if it presents itself as news? In an election year politicians propagandising their views on matters of public policy in something that calls itself “news” doesn’t count as news for Ofcom? Seriously?

If I knocked on your door and offered to sell you shares in a house you already own you would laugh in my face, but that’s exactly what Thatcher did and millions of you fell for it.

Very pleased to say that, following our challenge, Rishi Sunak has been ordered to disclose his dealings, including on text and WhatsApp, with his former hedge fund Theleme over its lucrative investment in Moderna. goodlaw.social/jazv

Rishi Sunak is challenged by Gary. gibbon over whether he is 'not entirely squaring with people' over how the government will pay for increased defence spending.

The Prime Minister says his plans are 'fully funded'.

He would say that wouldn’t he.

This is utter BS. Reducing the Civil Service by 72,000 wouldn’t come close to £75bn - more like £7.5bn on a very, very, generous estimate.

Has someone misplaced a decimal point? Or just the truth?

'Troubled water company warns of 44% increase in bills.'

Thames Water 💧 want to put up your bill by 44% and still be allowed to pay their shareholders over £2,000,000,000 of your money.

Madness, the whole industry is complete and utter madness.

“scandalous vote by a government woefully out of touch with this environmental crisis. The public will be furious to hear the Ofwat has been weakened even more. Conservative MPs should hang their heads in shame” theguardian.com/environment/20…

Carney is correct. Brexiteers have set us on a road to being a poorer, dirtier, less safe, country

Carney was also a superior Governor of the Bank of England compared to Andrew Bailey who I believe was a political choice as supported

This dividend is £125 for every one of Thames Water's 16 million consumers. That's probably £250 per bill payer. Water privatisation is the biggest rip off ever perpetrated on the UK public. TW should be nationalised without compensation.

Oh yes, did I mention that Thames Water 💧 want to pay their shareholders £2,000,000,000 over the next few years?

What, nobody told you? 🤔

Excellent blog, summarising the seemingly cynical flaws in Ofcom's research. When GBNews began, I gave Ofcom the benefit of the doubt. I was wrong. It's clearly not fit for purpose.

Any politician who is reckless enough to tell a seafarer, whether private, commercial, military or SAR, that they cannot rescue anyone in peril at sea must understand that they will face consequences.
Bloody painful consequences at that...

Just to be clear - is Ofcom pretending that the cast list from Farage to Rees-Mogg, Tice to Anderson who appear on G B “News” are in some way within “the highest standard of impartiality?” Perhaps the problem isn’t this dreary TV channel.
It’s the regulator.
