watched the fall guy twice now and i’m so obsessed actually so many tedbecca coded stuff (if they had done it right)

at first i was like ‘i think they had a whole different ending for ted lasso and changed it last minute’ as a joke but … i don’t think it’s a joke anymore.

ted and rebecca ending up at the pub with the team when keeley starts talking about kissing rebecca on the lips and drunk ted just goes ‘oh yeah, i tried it. i loved it’ and everyone (including rebecca) just goes 🫨🫨🫨

the only people who were convinced of their good ending were the writers and it hurts. we could’ve had so much more if they didn’t hold onto the ending they came up with before s1. if they actually looked at the growth of their characters.

“my gut is that she is single” i am both delighted & heartbroken by this, because it keeps getting clearer that hannah wanted something entirely different for rebecca than what they gave her. and as someone who also loves rebecca, i get her disappointment.

this fandom going from ‘ted when …’ to ‘fic ted when …’ is so funny. the writers really messed us and their characters up all in a few episodes 😭
