Our office, along with the City View Community Association, advocated to the @OttawaCity to add more recreational uses to the @NepeanMuseum facility. We are glad to welcome a summer camp this year! And there are still spaces open!

The final watemain works on Woodroffe south of Slack Rd are planned to commence Mon Apr 29th. There will be periodic lane reductions on Woodroffe Ave at Slack Rd outside of the traffic peak hours. The work is scheduled to be completed by the end of May.

Today is the National Day of Mourning, when we pay tribute to those across the country who have lost their lives or suffered due to workplace-related accidents, injuries or illnesses. We also honour the loved ones, family members and friends who are left behind.

Ottawa is updating its zoning bylaw, that describes who can build what, where all across City of Ottawa. It's a 2-year consultative process that will implement our Official Plan. It's time to pay attention, #collegeward , as the City seeks your feedback. engage.ottawa.ca/zoning

The Province of Alberta is making some major changes to its municipal legislation, including new rules that would let the government remove an unethical Member of Council. I'll watch to see how that goes, and hope that Ontario learns some lessons.
