A very interesting article in the Financial Times Magazine about the concerns with the current state of development of AI and AGI. I am not on the same page with most of the conclusions in the article, but it is a very well written and informative piece on how we got to where we are right

Coming back to Hayek’s argument, there was another aspect of it that has always bothered me. What if computational power of central planners improved tremendously? Would Hayek then be happy with central planning?

RIP. Bob Solow an absolute giant in Economics, has passed away at age 99. Tremendously influential in the profession and one of the key founders of the MIT Economics department as we live it today. Will be sorely missed.

Please avoid saying "in this situation such and such theorem fails or breaks down". (Unless of course you are proving it to be incorrect!) Instead, say it is not applicable in such and such situation because this or that assumptions are not met.
