Jamaican Wesley Cole was passenger 605 on the Windrush. He worked in coal mines in Scotland and the East Midlands where his talent was such that he became a mining advisor before retiring during the miners' strike. He died on this day in 2012 aged 87. #Windrush Windrush Lives
