You can only stop repeating your past if you understand your past. Once you know why you do what you do you can decide to take a different route that aligns with the person you truly want to be.

What if, instead of thinking ā€˜Iā€™m stuck in this situationā€™ you would think ā€˜I canā€™t always choose what comes my way but I can always choose how to handle itā€™. Reminder yourself you always have a choice. And as soon you start making choices your options will get beter and better.

Boundaries are not made for ā€˜themā€™, they are there for YOU. Your safety, your peace, your sanity, your clarity, your comfort. So donā€™t make it about them.

Donā€™t ask yourself if somethingā€™s perfect. Itā€™s not. It never will be. A better question to ask yourself is: is this person Iā€™m with, the job I have, or are the consequences of the choice Iā€™m making, worth the struggle to me?

No is a wonderful word that we all should use more often. A no to something else many times is a hell yes to living life on your terms!

Ask yourself ā€œdo I really want this?ā€ Give yourself space for awareness: are you doing things because you are choosing for yourself or because you are falling into old patterns, such as pleasing behavior? Stop and think about what you really want and say no whats draining you.

I remember reading this magazine when I was only 12 years old and dreaming of becoming a psychologist so I could help people be the best version of themselves and now Iā€™m on the coverĀ Psychology Magazine.

If certain people, matters or situations always end up being an issue, is it always all those people, matters or situations that are to blame? Or could the cause perhaps lie in the one thing they have in common: you?

What if - instead of thinking 'I can't do that' you would think 'what if the only thing I need to get where I want to go is courage?' Your possibilities are limitless when you have the courage to explore them.

Itā€™s time to stop worrying about hurting feelings of people that donā€™t worry about hurting yours.

People that really care about you respect your feelings and priorities. The more you grow and heal, the more the people pleasing goes out the door.
