Group of UVic professors looking to talk to President Kevin Hall, UVic about the encampment ended up being stonewalled by police/campus security
So University of Toronto held a press conference which wasn’t open to their own campus media?!
Reporters at The Varsity have been doing an amazing job covering the encampment (and have a track record of excellent campus coverage)
This disrespect to student media is despicable.

Can’t make this stuff up: Globalnews.ca asked for ON health care worker shortage figures, was denied, appealed and lost. Meanwhile, The Canadian Press got those same numbers under FOI… FROM THE SAME OFFICE.
Kind of makes you wonder about the IPC’s ruling, no?
