Running and gunning. The Kings walked into Dallas against a Mavs team playing the second night of a back-to-back and they ran the home team off the court for a 129-113 win. Here are six quick thoughts as the Kings picked up their sixth straight victory and moved to 8-4:
Keon Ellis in his career game
17 Points (Career high)
6 Rebounds (Career high)
2 Offensive
4 Defensive
3 Assists (Career high)
1 Steal
1 Block
0 Turnovers
6-of-8 (75.0%) from the field
5-of-7 (71.4%) from 3 (Career high)
Malik Monk has been incredible this season.
Having a player that can act as a bucket-getter and distributor off the bench like Monk is a critical aspect of Sacramento’s success.

43% 3PT

Sixth Man of the Year candidate.
The Kings lose their 4th straight, this time at home to Indiana.
They have one more home game against Atlanta before going out on a long, long road trip.
The team appears broken somehow, and they need answers quickly, the Western Conference is a slaughterhouse.
A trade for Jerami Grant and Mattise Thybulle would solve soooo many problems for this team.
I’m perfectly okay if the Kings need to slightly “overpay” to make it happen.
It’s better than any alternative.
