I chose the cycling life.

Cycling has helped me so much with my mental health and physical health in the last 4 years. I use my bike for commuting and going on an amazing adventures.

I’ll ask again: who exactly is responsible for monitoring the Ontario Place site for wildlife impacts during construction? Ontario’s best management practice for excluding Barn Swallows with netting, and the Natural Heritage Impact Study for OP, both recommend regular monitoring.

Wow: A new study found that e-bike rebates led to a 30-40% drop in driving.

In Saanich BC, e-bike buyers were offered between $350 and $1,500 as a rebate. 60% of the buyers were new to cycling. (via The Overhead Wire)

Our streets were originally designed for pedestrians and for horses trotting with carts at 8-12 km per hour. We provided sidewalks as a bonus so pedestrians can keep their feet clean.

Then we let cars take over the rest of the street, driving 4-6x faster and killing millions/yr
