josie nyra The thing with Alone is that Ghost *has* to teach Soap (the player) and be a mentor because we have to be guided. Otherwise, I think their interaction would've been mostly jokes and less of 'Grab that and that and make this.'

@josiethebug Unsurprisingly this is how most Scottish people respond on grinder to me every time I respond to anything they say really great time

josie honestly it’s so fun writing soap curse bc you can come up with the most outrageous sounding things and it still checks out

josie I just think the mentor / mentee dynamic is really brought forward when we play as Soap and Ghost has to interact with us and teach us, otherwise it's very toned down, if not barely there

josie Soap absolutely learned things from him, but the essence of their relationship definitely feels less like 'he's my mentor.' They're friendly with each other and aren't really afraid either to show affection, but it's not doubt he's learned things with him
