JOSHUA TEPLITZ The content on Instagram has been drab for ages, but TikTok is no better. Mega-Platforms are a wasteland of free work based on the falsely promoted hype of going viral, but their profits are beginning to decline as more creators realize it's not delivering opportunity.

JOSHUA TEPLITZ getting a core group to constantly post / engage. The algorithm is basically just engagement to profit IG. Engagement = potential for viral content\\ viral content = profit for IG. There are genuine hacks to it fr though, but youโ€™ll have to think about the ROI in some areas

tYLeR cOoLidGe ๐Ÿ† JOSHUA TEPLITZ Its an algorithm so nobody โ€œknowsโ€ them but its definitely been broken down into 4 separate areas: main feed, reels, tagged & DMs/broadcast channel and it wants you feeding all of them daily. Desperately attempting to take more time from creators that would be spent on other apps

JOSHUA TEPLITZ f IG. organic exposure has been dead for a long time. Now it's the same song and formatted videos over and over again. Just a bunch of basic people on their trying to scam others for money

IG may actually be dead. The guidelines you have to religiously follow to be favored by the algorithm are far from sustainable for the majority of artists.

JOSHUA TEPLITZ You have to sell your soul and quit your job to do ongoing content over reels to align with others. Tik tok ruined it since the pandemic. Nothing is ever the same. Photographers are feeling it.
