In 1998 two US Embassies were attacked in Africa — Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and Nairobi, Kenya. In response, the U.S. launched Infinite Reach, a significant military operation attacking multiple targets across the Middle East and Asia. No one was surprised then.

Since it is illegal for non-citizens to vote, folks need to see this for what it is: An effort to make it more difficult for citizens to vote. There are plenty of Americans who do not have proof of citizenship and who will be deterred from voting by such legislation.
