This appeared on my desk after a y11 lesson this morning about the Baroque and I feel very uncultured if I’m missing the joke .

I regret to inform you that this book is actively bad. Most of the book is a complete misdirect and waste of time. We are actively deceived by the writer to believe the protagonist is just greedy which makes his transformation at the end completely unpredictable.
