A really interesting few PD lessons on this which led to some fantastic discussions with my form. From what each party promises to where and why certain regions favour different parties (a nice opportunity to use GIS!). My seat (form group) voted in favour of Greens.

I love how talented the artists are in our school, and the tradition of Wells Dressing is fantastic. I'm a particular fan of the RNLI themed one. #savinglivesatsea #lovelearninglovelife

An evening Ethel from last night. Ticking off Sir William Hill from Stoney Middleton and via Eyam. Great views from the top over the Derbyshire Dales and Dark Peak. The limestone features around Stoney Middleton are stunning. #hikingadventures #getoutside Peak District National Park

Only 3 days into the summer and already so much geography taken in! Waterfalls near Matlocks and the impressive limestone landscape of Cave Dale in Castleton. #geographyteacher #hikingadventures

A pretty idyllic day yesterday. A wander around National Trust Quarry Bank Mill with its fascinating history, a riverside walk, and a picnic watching planes at Manchester Airport.

Grand day out in York visiting the National Railway Museum. As interesting as ever, but definitely more and more "historical" exhibits I remember seeing on the railway! Nice walk after taking in the sights and bustle of a wonderful city. Would highly recommend Two Hoots Icecream Boat!

The Avro Heritage Centre was a fascinating visit yesterday. Plenty of history soaked in from the knowledgeable volunteers. Will definitely have to go back when they open their planned extension!

I had no idea about this! A bit like Buxton has the longest running impacts of climate change experiment in the UK. Will try to build this into my teaching next year. I actually used to be a weather station recorder for the Met Office. #geography #geographyteacher

We can't wait to see how our adventurers react to the PTAs' generous donation. We can't believe the number of figures, dice, and stories the group now has. We look forward to hearing their tales in the future. #dungeonsanddragons BCS_PTA
