Prospective nonrandomized study of acute stroke pt requiring intracranial thrombectomy & have tandem occlusions (extracranial lesion requires acute stenting). Good outcome(mRS 0–2 @ D90) higher in stenting group (68.5% vs 42.2%; P=0.003) with no difference in mortality or sICH!!
