Rutgers transfer Kaylene Smikle will stay in the Big Ten and head to Maryland, per her announcement.

This is a big one for the Terps. Smikle averaged 16.1 ppg, 5.1 rpg and 2.5 apg for Rutgers in 15 games as a sophomore.
