A #JICA team working on promoting tourism in #Ethiopia visited Jimma – an area considered to be the birthplace of coffee. The team engaged in discussions with officials from the Jimma Tourism Office on how to integrate the history and current cultivation of #coffee with #tourism .

On April 25, during his visit to Türkiye🇹🇷, JICA President Akihiko Tanaka attended the loan agreement signing ceremony for the “Emergency Earthquake Disaster Reconstruction Project,” a Japanese ODA loan project aimed at reconstruction from the February 2023 earthquakes.

To improve the health of the people of Tajikistan🇹🇯, JICA donated 42 types of medical equipment to the National Medical Centre “Shifobakhsh” and the Republican National Centre for Cardiovascular Surgery. JICA committed to improving health services to ensure no one is left behind.
