I joined a 1st grade class today at @ElliottEagles. The students were learning and practicing fact families. They used manipulatives, peer talk, 4 corners and music/movement all in 1 lesson! Proud of the engagement I saw today. Irving ISD C&I

It's been a terribly rough few weeks as I try to navigate my new, unexpected, change in my professional role. I'm disappointed that my leadership role was dissolved without warning, but I'm learning how to lead in new ways, despite the fact that leaders I looked up to let me down
