Thank you Karoline Edtstadler for inviting me to speak at the third European Conference on Antisemitism. It is a sad commentary on the state of antisemitism in the world today that this is my second international conference on the issue in a month. We must continue to fight together.

On Yom HaShoah, we take time to remember the 6 million lives taken in the Holocaust. On this day -- and every day -- Federations across North America proudly support person-centered, trauma-informed care for Holocaust survivors through the Center on Holocaust Survivor Care.

This Holocaust Remembrance Day, we mourn the six million Jews who were killed by the Nazis during one of the darkest chapters in human history.

And we recommit to heeding the lessons of the Shoah and realizing the responsibility of “Never Again.”

Today, we join the March of the Living for the 36th International March of the Living, in memory of the Jews murdered in the Holocaust and in honor of those who survived.
