Adam Gase to the #Jets is the best possible news for Sam Darnold. According to one NFL executive I just texted with, Gase is “excellent with the QBs.” Additionally, Gase’s fiery spirit will mesh well with Darnold, whose unflappability belies his competitive mentality. Nice hire.

Jordan Schultz fantastic hire and Jamal Adams is going to love the aggressive direction of the team. Outside of the 2 Harbaughs, Gase was by far the best candidate (Kingsberry 2nd). McCarthy would have been a disaster...the fact he once won a super bowl is irrelevant - i mean watch the games
