On CBC Cost of Living on CBC, we're hearing about the need for a 'disruptor' (with at least 150 stores) to shake up the Canadian grocery market by leveraging the 'ALDI Effect'.

'Restrictive property covenants' being used by current grocers is cited as a problem.

Nic Houghton It's a tradition to start the first breakfast of the year with a Berliner/Krapfen/Pfannkuchen. In most of them is jam but some have mustard inside.😆

Took daughter to the Bäckerei, we stand in the queue. She asks for Krapfen, I say no, they’re not for breakfast.

Before I know it, the people around us have assembled an adhoc legal team and are forcefully advocating for my daughter.

And that’s why we had Krapfen for breakfast.

News networks describing the weather in Edmonton as “hazy” is really a disservice to the population.

They should describe it with the PSA of “life-shortening if you spend time outside.”

It’s time for my yearly gripe that the air quality alert system is dangerously slow and does not let people know that there are hazardous conditions currently happening. My readings outside just now vs AQHI #yyc #ableg #abwildfire
