This is the thing...We will need engineering solutions + ongoing public health information and probably safety law changes...Public buildings have safety requirements for water, we need it for air.

All those people with their brain inflammation, immune disorders and neuronal damage, malingering and moaning and getting their sick notes.....it's just a bit of a cold and anxiety....get back to the office and get Covid (that's gone) again! 🧐😳

Jane #YellowRose πŸ’™ I have a purifer set up at my parents' place that is connected to my app along with my main air purifer. I can turn it up and on depending on their air quality. It also alerts me if it detects bad air quality. (Usually happens when my mom makes burnt toast to eat)

Nice one....and monitoring can be done nicely too. Maybe the HEPA could have a C3PO type voice reminder 'Please switch me on' 'Please place me near the centre of the room' 'Please check the CO2 levels and open a window if they are high'😍

I know I’ve said this a few times today in different ways, but I’m completely & utterly bemused how in this long list of contributors to sickness, COVID-19 is not even mentioned.
Sure, we can have a discussion about how much it contributes but not mentioning it at all is bizarre.

Dr. Lucky Tran I think they know fine well what’s occurring. They also know they are responsible. But because they are so corrupt & unethical, to save face they prefer to blame the sick & needy & turn even more ppl against the chronically sick. They know they caused this with their arrogance.

Cleaning the air in super spreader places (hospitals, schools) would stem the tide of illness *and* save money.
Those in power/ media with large platforms could take energy away from propaganda and blame.
We could focus on truth and solutions.

This is an interesting document - it looks as though the overpayment of benefits due to fraud on the part of claimants is Β£6.4bn.

A terrible waste of money I think we can all agree.

But this is also less than half the Β£15bn debt of Thames Water that they are talking about

Jane #YellowRose πŸ’™ The epidemic should probably spur some redesign of institutional HVAC systems to incorporate HEPA filters & UV purification.
A brief perusal of the literature doesn't reveal much study of efficiency vs cost though.

This is spot on. People have been told (mainly by omission) that Covid is over and is nothing to worry about...so why would thye even think about cleaning the air. A clear, consistent, on-going Public Health info campaign would be needed to shift and then keep the momentum going.
