This year's climate disasters were Brought To You Big Oil.

We're just helping them get the credit they deserve.

Now up in the streets of NYC...and a city near you?

$600 million more dollars and months of delays. This pipeline continues to burden communities across Southwest Virginia, and its impact on the environment (without even being finished) has been detrimental.

It's really feeling like this is the point in the movie where the villains start eating each other to form some super villain that have to fight to save the planet.

Climate Avengers, assemble.

With Exxon purchasing Pioneer and Chevron buying up Hess, Big Oil is building a Death Star that will destroy our planet.

These deals are predicated on *decades* more fossil fuel production when every scientist says we need to stop new development immediately.

These Big Oil Frankensteins are a direct threat to our climate, democracy and economy.

The industry is consolidating power to drill as much as possible & stop all climate progress.

We need Lina Khan and the FTC to intervene. wsj.com/business/energ…

This is huge. NPR reporting proves that the American Gas Association:

💨 knew about the health threat of gas stoves decades ago
🤑followed the Tobacco industry’s playbook to mislead the public, even hiring their PR firms and “scientists.”

This hacking crime has Exxon’s fingerprints all over it.

Who else would hire a hacker to go after such a specific set of emails regarding lawsuits against the industry?

Maybe a front group, but those all connect back to Exxon or are on its payroll. subscriber.politicopro.com/article/eenews…

These 14 Hawaiʻians are going to court to defend their constitutional right to a clean and healthful environment. Hawaiʻi’s DoT has continued to fund & implement transit projects that lock in & escalate the use of fossil fuels. So they're taking action. And we're proud to help.

Kudos to Fiona Harvey for this hard hitting piece on Al Jaber and COP28. She writes with a searing clarity about the need to phase out fossil fuels and the conflicts of interest holding us back from that goal. theguardian.com/environment/20…

.Citi is profiting off our destruction as the world's 2nd largest fossil fuel funder.

But we're organizing for a world where your health and safety is in your hands—not the hands of polluters and their funders.

This deal shows that Exxon is doubling down on fossil fuels and has no intention of moving towards clean energy.

Even after the hottest summer on record, Exxon is hellbent on driving the thermostat even higher. nytimes.com/2023/10/11/bus…

Here is fossil fuel companies' new defense in lawsuits accusing them of deceiving the public about climate change:

They perpetrated no deception, they say, because the 'alleged impact of fossil fuel use on the global climate has been ‘open and obvious’ for decades.'

Last week I spoke to NPR's Michael Copley about why California's lawsuit against Big Oil is so important for the future of climate accountability, why California won't be the last state to sue Big Oil, and more.

No freaking way. The Northeast is rapidly moving to electrification and heat pumps, moves that will lower costs and save our climate.

We don’t need a notorious climate villain like Enbridge trying to supersize their pipelines to flood us with more methane gas.

Last week, the ad agency Havas accepted a major contract with Shell.

Since then, they’ve seen a wave of negative media, lost high profile climate clients, and see a backlash from online creators, like here: instagram.com/reel/Cxf_Y4rLn…

Since I know a lot of climate haters follow me here too, an honest question: do you think we should be exporting more gas to China, raising prices for US consumers? Wouldn’t it be better to keep that gas at home to burn ourselves (or keep in the ground)? newyorker.com/news/daily-com…
