As a side note: Eric Evans believes that Domain-Driven Design skills will get more important as AI takes over programming. We'll be able to scale programming but not scale understanding a domain and modelling it.

James Urquhart Cody Bunch - Happy flower man For certain, this is biggest and most real concern. It’s not AI taking over, but capitalists using it to gain even more at the expense of the middle class and everyone else. I am already seeing trends of this.

If only there was a way to distribute AI capability among the people to counterbalance the inevitable pull of permanent capital…

I *absolutely* agree with Simon here. The near-term risk is not AIs out thinking us, but wealthy capitalists figuring out how to use AI to route cash flow to themselves, and away from the masses. There is little recourse, and the economy as a whole will suffer greatly.

James is an amazing talent that VMWare is stupidly letting go. If you need his expertise (and you probably do), act quickly.

I just found out that my time at VMware is coming to a close. I loved working there, but there are also positives to resetting my sights on new opportunities.
