Operose Health: UK’s biggest GP chain replacing doctors with less qualified staff - This is what we will see in future with the NHS obsession to scale up GPs. Physicians associates are excellent colleagues to GPs. They are not GPs. Patients will lose out bbc.co.uk/news/health-61…

I earned more in tax year 20-21, no question. Why? I worked f/t as a GP, put my body on the line for the hot services and barely saw my family for months in the vaccination effort, when it was clear the mass vacc centres were not up to the job. So, yes, crap, hateful journalism

I’ll say it again Thérèse Coffey YOU CANT HAVE MORE APPOINTMENTS WITHOUT MORE DOCTORS we now have 1850 LESS than in 2015. Can you see the problem yet?!

Please be upstanding for the Lords and Ladies of Second Street Surgery 👏😂 Brilliant surprise from one of our patients this afternoon. Very well deserved as the team always go the extra mile for our patients. Please curtsy when you see me next 😉

NHS GP may not be perfect. But, for 42p per patient per day, it delivers a lot, to a lot of people. 42p would buy <1 min of private GP time. Once.

The gap keeps getting wider. Gateshead has high levels of people living with obesity, high levels of deprivation, and yet no Tier 2 weight management, no services for children/families living with obesity and now further cuts to leisure centres. No visible “levelling up” here.

The practice in question here delivered 93% of its appointments face-to-face in October which this article fails to mention; preferring instead to focus on ‘naming and shaming’, and singling out an individual doctor in a way that is completely unfair telegraph.co.uk/news/2022/11/2…

The NHS is completely BROKEN It WASNT broken by COVID/Ukraine/inflation(*delete excuse) It was broken by deliberate CHOICES to break it RT if you want this/next government to make CHOICES to properly fund the NHS, reward its staff & provide better healthcare for UK population

Do read this article. Many won't understand that GP partners don't get a salary. they get funding to run the practice. A big part of that funding means going through exhausting tickbox exercises GPs aren’t just exhausted: we are broken | Anonymous theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

We told you, NHS England. Repeatedly. This is on you. YOU don't value quality care. Or, by implication, patients. The fightback for English General Practice begins. General Practice
