Tonight I spent a few hours with Claire & Ryan Douglas from our Scottish Ambulance Sauchie Station on an A&E Ambulance. I drove away with a sense of pride, knowing my operational colleagues deliver such amazing care to our patients. I want to say thank you to you all! #AllAmazing
Just popped into my local Food warehouse (Iceland Foods ❄️) in Cumbernauld! Really liking the shop! Last time I visited emergency services got a discount! Fancy bringing that back?😂😂 Good customer service too from a chap called Damon at the till, something big stores lack I think!
Assisting at a Recruitment day today for Scottish Ambulance Emergency Medical Dispatchers for the East Ambulance Control Centre. Our very own jim mcquater doing a presentation on how the Ambulance Control Centres operate.
Booked on as a volunteer CFR this evening for ForthValleyCFR & Scottish Ambulance. Hope I can be some help to someone in need.
Thank you @Mr_Cockburn from Grangemouth HS for your kind words. We agree with you, everyone who can attend should come and see the powerful message. Thanks to everyone who came to the show today! Some awesome dancers at Grangemouth HS too!! 🙌🕺🙂
Thank you PC Lawson-Tennyson for your kind words. We hope that all the Falkirk High School pupils that attended will take the important onboard and become responsible drivers when the time comes. Don't think we saw you dancing on stage though PC Lawson-Tennyson, next year maybe? 😃
That’s Wallace High School heading into see the SDSACentral show number 6 this afternoon. We hope they all walk away with the important message we try to deliver. Any pupils or teachers want to provide us what feedback on what you though of the show, please tweet or get in touch.
Just some of the Wallace High School teachers getting ready back stage to entertain the young people before the show starts!! 💃🕺🏻
Well done Debbie Brown, Malcolm of @Plastic_Journey. Absolutely fantastic thing to hear you both doing!! I’ll be following your journey at @Plastic_Journey!!
Well, that’s back in the Scottish Ambulance East Control Room looking after & assisting Red Team. A wealth of experience at dispatch looking after the Central/East & South of Scotland. Remember, stay safe if you are going out. Same to my operational colleagues working #SafeShift
Yesterday was the most challenging & difficult shift I have ever had in over 10 years working for Scottish Ambulance. All my colleagues pulled together to deliver the best patient care. It’s a hard time for all right now, but let’s stick together & work as the great big team we are.
Back in Scottish Ambulance east control room for day shift 3 of 3. Another really difficult day for all our control room & operational colleagues yesterday. I know I have many colleagues following, so just remember I’m at the end of the phone in ACC for any support. We are one team!
Well, thats me and the Red Team back day shifts in the East Ambulance Control Centre this week looking after the NHS Forth Valley, NHS Borders, NHS Lothian, NHS Fife & NHS Tayside Heath board areas. Remember to use 999 wisely, using alternatives, i.e. GP, NHS24 where appropriate.
It’s this kind of tweet by @louis_hankins of East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust that makes the world of difference to Dispatchers. There is no question that everyone in all Ambulance services are working hard & doing a great job, but this gives the very difficult role of a dispatcher a little boost!
This mornings Snapchat update! Day shift 3 of 4 for the East ACC Red Team. No doubt it’ll be another busy day in Scottish Ambulance ACCs & operationally, but let’s do this & make today great! #teamwork #999family #ambulance #999foremergencies
Back in the Scottish Ambulance East Control Room day shift today looking after the Red team. Hope all my NHS and SAS colleagues have a great day. Stay safe folks!
