Seven years ago today Oliver Sacks died, and the world lost a brilliant mind. We’re so glad Oliver can live on and continue to inspire new generations of neurologists, writers, and thinkers through his books.

📷 We are delighted to announce that the Ric Burns documentary Oliver Sacks: His Own Life will be screened in Portugal at Cinema São Jorge on Tuesday, September 26 at 5:30 PM as part of Lisbon's Queer Film Festival.

Today we remember Oliver Sacks. A naturalist, a writer, a psychonaut, but first and foremost a physician and explorer of the human condition. In this clip from a lecture he gave at Vanderbilt University in 1999, he talks about how many different "ways of being" there are.
