Why is Github lagging so far behind in the async code gen race? They just sent out an email displaying a "real world" use cases, but it's just a PR making changes in a markdown file github.com/github/maintaiโ€ฆ

Every engineering team should be automating their daily standup with Ellipsis (YC W24) In 2025, there's no reason a developer should show up to standup without having skimmed what their colleagues shipped that day. ellipsis.dev/blog/automatinโ€ฆ

A surprising number of companies are building their own Code Review agents. Itโ€™s easy to build a PoC, but hard to build something useful like Ellipsis (YC W24) It might feel straightforward but itโ€™s not. The feeling comes from it being more accessible than it was 1 year ago.

Replit and others in the code gen space are growing like crazy, but (very important!!) if you're writing code with AI, you should also be reviewing code with AI! AI Code Reviews & Bug Fixes from Ellipsis (YC W24) install into your repository in 2 clicks

Out enjoying a Saturday with my partner meanwhile @cognition Devin and Ellipsis (YC W24) are cranking out PRโ€™s. Weโ€™re about to start deploying daily with no human interaction. Ellipsis approval on a PR is going to trigger auto merge and deploy.

Interesting observation: today's AI Agents will call you out if you have a bug in your tool implementation code This didn't used to be the case in 2023. SOTA models in 2025 are smart enough (or confident enough?) to detect bugs in your logic, which is a black box to the agent
