I've participated in too many conversations about "what is the role of design / pm / eng / marketing / sales?" to count. Of course there are differences. But every tech manager role, regardless of discipline, ends up converging. What does this mean for you as a manager? If

this is basically "agentic ai" right now, it makes for a cool demo but falls apart the minute you need it to do something serious

gpt5's trait of always offering a follow up that's driving me crazy is explicitly called out in the system prompt as something not to do 🙈

i led dia's onboarding all we literally did: - go through the flow, identify issues, solve the top ones - send the build to testers who'd record themselves and talk through - watch those videos, look at data, identify what else to solve - repeat

my new favorite cursor use case: screenshot something in the app and ask "what's the name of the analytics event for this" i don't even have to type or describe it this used to take hours at my big tech job

The The Browser Company just signed a merger agreement to be acquired. We will remain independent. Our focus is Dia. I’ve written and rewritten this post more times than I’d like to admit, but what I keep coming back to is simple: the work continues, and we’re grateful for this

i was blown away by poke app's onboaring. it negged me that i wasn't worth being a user, then i had to haggle pricing 🤯🤯🤯 unfortunately, day-to-day use is really not living up. keeps alarming me about things i already did. unsubscribed and will try again in 3 mo.

Notion AI can already do inline edits! It can edit databases too. This is a way better solution than a generic Browser Agent. It's secure, way faster at editing and can also search across the instance.
