An NHS Workforce plan with no concrete ideas or detail (above mere soundbites & lip service) as to how to RETAIN the NHS staff we have is bizarrely inadequate. We are haemorrhaging staff of every kind. Addressing pay & abysmal conditions of work would address that 🤷‍♀️

Junior Doctors in Scotland will receive a 14% pay uplift. Junior Dr’s in England will receive 6%. The UK government can’t have a 2 tier system! Pay ALL Dr’s correctly across the whole of the UK, not just in Scotland. We can’t rely on the goodwill of Dr’s forever. UK Prime Minister

Hello, palliative care doctor here. The wall is not misleading. It represents those with Covid written (by doctors like me) on their death certificate. That means Covid was either the direct cause of death or a significant contributory factor.
