Had quite a rewarding safari yesterday at Ranthambore national park.Sighted a lazing male tiger in the grass and stayed with him for next 1.5 hrs and was rewarded by him playfully wading into the neighbouring lake & approaching us up close !

There are many green jewels which visionary individuals in authorities in the past hv created in bbsr like #Ekamrakanan & #botanicalgarden in #Nandankanan.They must be maintained in strict adherence to sustainable protocols. Sad to see over-concretisation of Ekamra CMO Odisha

Bbbsr Bolangir state highway was in better condition not so long ago . It’s in disarray now . Uneven surface , potholes & countless humps make travelling quite daunting. Sorely in need of maintenance. Sadly most roads in the state are witnessing increasing levels of humps !

Something must start to alleviate the daily inconvenience of commuters between Jaydev V to Nandankanan. Widening at place ls where ROW is available is the low hanging fruit. Big plans for elevated corridors are long term solution. Short term relief urgently required!

On a recent visit to Bolangir noticed fast progress of khordha-Bolangir rly line. Hon PM Modi ji repeatedly followed up in monthly Pragati meetings which accelerated its progress. The tunnels prevented felling of lakhs of tress bet Daspalla & Boud.Thanks to Ashwini Vaishnav also

Institutions previously inside the city need to be shifted to more suitable places for meeting the current priorities.The central poultry farm was shifted to accommodate the expansion of KalingaStadium.Also underutilised land need to be spared for dev of bbsr needed by govt .

I find race to register to GI tags of relatively obscure products .As someone who applied & secured Basmati GI I feel where substantial trade interest exist providing scope for imitation it makes sense. GI is not brand building. First producers may increase their business.
