All the resources we need to survive exist—they're just being looted from us to pay for more violence & criminalization. Imagine if all of the funds we currently pour into policing & supporting GENOCIDE went into taking care of each other. What could we imagine + build instead?

The police are the ones defunding us. The violence of policing includes the fact that they are actively looting the majority of the resources that we need to help our communities survive and to actually support conditions for greater, genuine collective safety and well-being.

Reminder: the police were not actually defunded.

There have only been 7 days in 2024 where police did not kill someone.
