At our USCPR ACTION Gaza teach in this evening in Washington, DC, as part of the ongoing commemoration of the Nakba. As we are faced with the ongoing genocide in Gaza, we hold the last 76 years of the Nakba in mind for just why this has all unfolded.

Israel closing down the border to contain Palestinians as they are invading Rafah is a choice made to intentionally try and kill as many Palestinians as possible.

Israel just bombed a house in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip, killing many Palestinians, including people who had just left Rafah to seek refuge away from Israel's invasion.

Wednesday, will mark 76 years of the ongoing Nakba. We Palestinians have been trying to express to the world for years what atrocities Israel has committed against us. What will it take for the world to stop their unconditional support to genocidal Israel? Look what you’ve done.

One of my Palestinian family members imprisoned by Israel watched someone getting their finger nails being pulled out as a torture mechanism. The assaults and brutality have been endless for years.

Mayor Bowser, the Metropolitan Police never kept people safe, the people kept each other safe at GWU. You gave permission to your department to assault protestors while they were asleep, hours before you have to testify at the House hearing. This was cowardly and reckless.
