Excellent news. Labour parliamentarians in the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly unanimously supported this. Membership of the Council of Europe will support Kosovo’s development and reinforce human rights, democracy and the rule of law in the country.

I welcome this important step for Kosovo. Canada has been, and will continue to be, fully supportive of Kosovo's Euro-Atlantic aspirations!

A great day for Kosova, as PACE votes in favor of our application to join the Council of Europe.

This is a ringing endorsement of our state's record on human rights, democracy & rule of law, bringing the Republic of Kosova one step closer to full membership.

.PACE has just recommended the Committee of Ministers to invite Kosovo to become a member of the Assembly! Important decision! I have been raising this question for more than one year! And finally, one more step has been taken! Congratulations to Kosovo on this decision!

Congratulations to Kosova. The requested 2/3 majority in the PACE was clearly achieved and is even a 3/4 majority (76,6 %). Its up to the Committee of Ministers now to react and to welcome Kosova in the Council of Europe.

French ISR aircraft flew along Kosovo border with Serbia today, presumably checking on Serbian forces across the border. NATO SACEUR Cavolli mentioned these flights and placement of French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle in the Adriatic as a response to Serbian threat.

Sasa Magazinovic, who heads the BiH delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, has announced that he will vote for Kosovo's accession to the Council of Europe.

He stated that all citizens of 🇽🇰 deserve the opportunities provided by the Council of Europe.

The Serbian president, bitter and defeated, mocks a professional journalist from The British Telegraph for reporting truthfully from northern Kosovo. Such behavior from a leader with delusional disorder has no place in the future.
He must be internationally condemned!
