This award was once given to Merkel or President Kennedy, but so what? We don't need any awards except for acts of sacrifice by each of us. We can't just assign a little of our privilege to “contribute” and feel good, it’s time for us to put all we have on the table.

我宁愿选择自由，而不是任何自由奖章。
突如其来的奖章可以是一种干扰，甚至是讽刺的。
当我投入这场紧迫、巨大的人类生存危机时，我愿意付出生命，我难道还去考虑一张纸？
气候和生态行动不是表演，不是活动家头上的光环，是千千万万人的觉醒和行动。我们需要对暴力和不公正说不，这是做成的关键。
