National Volunteer Week is a time to reflect on the hard work of all volunteers. These include members of our Tenant Reference Groups, Community Hub volunteers, and the numerous partner organisations selflessly donating their time to help others.

This week Our Mid Coast team recently had the privilege of discussing the reasons and impacts of overcrowding with some of our First Nations' tenants.

This was held in the Yarning Circle at the beautiful First Steps Count Child and Community Centre in Taree.

Yesterday we joined a group of Cessnock tenants to raise money for Cancer Councils Biggest Morning Tea.

Asides from a tasty spread of cakes, biscuits and warm treats, the morning also included a few rounds of bingo, with the winners receiving a Coles gift card 😊

Maitland/Cessnock Community Participation Officer, Kim, recently had the privilege of attending the Cessnock Community & Careers Expo as Cessnock Tafe.

Kim was able to introduce attendees to the fulfilling careers available in the community housing industry 😊

We had a great time yesterday at The Meeting Place raising money for the Cancer Council's Biggest Morning Tea! Thank you to everyone that joined us for this important cause 😊
