Importance of terminology! We do not seek permission & we are not given permission to #homeeducate. It is already a parental right with #equalstatus to school. We do not deregister in Scotland. We do submit a letter & provision to the LA so they can process consent to withdraw.

How words change the meaning. Our children are not only educated at home, there is so much to take part in within our network and a wide variety of #groups for different #interests. Getting a day at home can be challenging some weeks! #Homeeducate' means we educate #everywhere

"Child Protection" in the family home is completely different from "Safeguarding" in a professional setting. Parents are criminalised and "professionals" are protected... That has GOT to change. Protect children in ALL settings from abuse IN LAW otherwise nothing will change!
