The 2024 London Green Party Manifesto says 'A Green Mayor will champion low traffic neighbourhoods'.
Are they not, as Greens, at all concerned about the displacement of and possible increases in pollution which LTNs can produce?

Helena Horton 5 yrs ago I hosted the launch of this👇publication & spoke about how great it was to grow older in a place where I could walk to so much (a 15 min city). This has nothing to do w/LTNs which make my walking routes ⬆️ dangerous & polluted. LTNs benefit big houses not folk who walk.

The dire Lee LTN which is about milking money (3M) first yr. Nothing to do with C19 or air quality. Lewisham council argue it funds schemes ie. pensioner oyster cards. That’s not a reason to stunt young lung growth & council tax has risen. The fall out healthwise is catastrophic.

When I researched it in 2020, idealogs councils had tried & failed to introduce them under different disguises. Covid was the golden ticket. Remember who was most at risk of covid😳

Looks like Lambeth Council are now charging blue badge holders £1,900 a year for previously free garage parking. We know they don’t like cars, but this seems excessively cruel, doesn’t it?

Alongside the Streatham Vale tower, Lambeth Council pushing to change the skyline in the borough and 'Lambeth will receive over £11million every year in additional business rate contributions' to offset huge council debts.

If you are interested, my initial thoughts are below:

⁦Andrew Grieve⁩ could you confirm what part of the UK meets WHO guidelines (2021). There seems to be confusion just how clean the air is as we head towards the polls. How can the air be dirty in Lewisham & surrounding boroughs believe they are breathing clean air?

Mr Clark appears to be suggesting that the whole reason for the traffic chaos in Streatham (and beyond) for the past five months is purely down to this account/group wanting VR free of cars.

Life without LTNs is better for everyone

The evidence that LTNs incite terrible air pollution patterns, as they offload bad AQ onto the poorest streets, is staring Defra UK Environment Agency APPG Air Pollution and Mayor of London in the face.

Lewisham Council Louise Krupski this is what the population who live outside your LTN in Lewisham deserve, our lives matter too. Poorer families living on red routes deserve healthy lives and not surviving on inhalers. A205 is the gateway to Dover already clogged with HGV lorries
