Interesting to hear Marie Le Conte talk about Vienna's chocolate box appearance feeling 'unsettling' on the latest Oh God, What Now? – the politics podcast. Totally agree. Amazing cake, but very strange place. I have a love/hate relationship with it.

I really regret going back to work repeatedly when I was too mentally ill to do so and then letting colleagues down, often in a very messy and last minute fashion. I was desperate to be well and back working effectively but funnily enough my recovery was not linear and I couldn’t…

In response to Pippa’s pertinent question, I’m going to take a stab and wildly guess that the answer is “no, not through the nhs”

Also: can gov just please stop trying to carve off disabled ppl into a separate class that can be othered in this way. This is how you get to half of country thinking they don't know a disabled person when about 1 in 5 ppl are disabled or have long term health condition.

Just sharing this 'pea-tition' again. Pea protein is the pointless filler ingredient that is making allergy sufferers lives hell. Customers need proper information about non-top14 allergens and there should be a big rethink on this fast-growing food fad

Here we go again. 'Maybe they should get treatment instead of benefits'

1. It's not either or
2. They would be getting treatment if you hadn't run the NHS and care services into the ground

More daft policy making.

Hopefully this won’t actually be scrapped by the time the election is called. Some say that’s tomorrow… (I have no idea; ask Bobbie Hough 😅)

The hours carers on carers allowance can work on Nat Min/Living Wage have fallen from 16h51m to 13h11m. Almost every year they have had to cut the hours they work to meet the earnings threshold or lose their benefit completely.
