Really like the simple thought of:

Reset button > Panic button

Good visual and something athletes (or anybody) can add a tangible move to.

Slap the “Reset button” on your left leg, or touch the logo on your bat.

Having actionable strategies is the difference in execution

Reset button > Panic button

When adversity hits… do you hit the reset button or the panic button?

If you hit the panic button, you probably haven’t prepared well enough.

If you prepare before adversity occurs, you give yourself the power to reset instead of panic.

When it comes to working on your mental game start by asking yourself these questions…

Before a performance:
How do you prepare?

During a performance:
How do you manage?

After a performance:
How do you respond?

Hannah with another great
I hear coaches preaching to players about how baseball/softball is filled with failure yet fail to make them comfortable in failure.

“True confidence comes from understanding you actually won’t win all the time, knowing that you will experience failure, you won’t always be your best, and things won’t always go your way.” - Hannah Huesman, MS, CMPC
